Prayer Vigil on Holy Saturday

A Day of Waiting and Prayer

On Saturday, Jesus’ body lay in the tomb, and his followers were lost in grief and confusion (Matthew 27:57-61). It’s a day of silence and waiting. On this day, we open up our sanctuary so you may participate in a prayer vigil from 8am-8pm. 30 minute sign-ups are available on the bulletin board in the gathering room. During your time, you have the opportunity to spend time in prayer, reading, meditation or however you feel most comfortable connecting with God.
