Palm Sunday

The Celebration Begins

Holy Week starts with Palm Sunday, the day Jesus entered Jerusalem to cheering crowds. People laid palm branches on the road, treating him like a king (Matthew 21:6-9). But while the people expected Jesus to take power, his purpose was much greater. Many churches, including our congregation, celebrate this day by waving palm branches and singing joyful songs, remembering the excitement of that moment.
